Service Philosophy
As a scientist, I believe it's important for scientists to give back to our communities and share our knowledge. In the last year of my dissertation, I want to gain more experience giving back to the scientific community and the public!

2023: Peer reviewer for Journal of Agricultural & Urban Entomology (1)
2022-2023: Treasurer; University of Maryland Entomology Student Organization
One of my favorite experiences as a graduate student was being treasurer of the University of Maryland Entomology Student Organization. Organizing and planning department social events, such as our annual Oktoberfest and Spring Fling celebrations, was super fun!
